About the Academy
Founded by Andrei Kisselev and Yana Volkova — international professional dancers with over 25 years of teaching between them.
Art of the Dance World Academy offers a unique dance experience by renowned master teachers and international professional dancers Andrei Kisselev and Yana Volkova. Students train in the Vaganova method — a sequential system in which every movement involves the whole body, with equal attention to the upper body, legs and feet.
Our founders have performed and choreographed on the major stages of the world with the Moiseyev Dance Company, the Metropolitan Opera, Riverdance the Show and NYC Opera, and have taught dancers from preschool to professional at Manhattanville College and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive.
Our mission is to share this wealth of knowledge with your child and provide an amazing learning opportunity.
